OTHER PERTINENT INFO:
All performances: American Theatre of Actors’ Chernuchin Theater (314 W. 54th Street, 2nd Floor)
The reservation number is 212-769-7973. Tickets are paid in cash only on the day of performance. Equity showcase, so cards can be used but, of course, only after all paying customers are seated. For all others, tickets are $15 for the whole evening of shows.
TICKETS
1. The box office opens at ONE HALF HOUR PRIOR TO CURTAIN. Reservations are released to the general public at 15 minutes before curtain. Tickets are sold the day of performance only.
2. They do their best to run on schedule, but things can change. So either come for the whole evening or come early for the piece you wish to see. If your show is scheduled to go up at 9:05 but at 7:30 the 8:00pm show drops out your show moves up.
3. Reservations are suggested because of the limited seating (99).
4. Reserved comps (besides the two allotted per show – and that’s per show, not per evening of shows) are distributed under the AEA professional comp guidelines which means legitimate industry people.
SECURITY ISSUES: The theatre shares an entrance with the Manhattan Community Court. For this reason, there is a metal detector and police security on duty Monday-Friday 9am-7pm. This also means that you should arrive early on these nights to allow for the time it takes for everyone to go through security.
